King Solomon High School was opened in September 1993. It is a co-educational comprehensive school serving the Jewish communities of Redbridge and the surrounding areas. The Amstrad Technology faculty offers specialist facilities for design and technology and three computer suites. There is a dedicated sixth-form area and its learning resource centre contains over 15,000 books and a suite of Internet linked computers. A particular feature of the school is its synagogue, with a stained glass window designed by students. Vocational options include Cisco and other industry standard in IT qualifications. The school offers a safe and caring environment that creates responsible young people with a wide range of skills for life.
