Background:
Founded in 1972 to meet the need for a Church aided school in the parish of Great Parndon, the school occupies a modern single-storey building, which is well maintained and decorated with excellent amenities. It offers seven classrooms, a library, computer suite, hall, two work areas and a well-equipped kitchen. It is situated adjacent to Maunds Wood, opposite Great Parndon nature reserve and has a large playing field around two sides and separate infant and junior play areas. The school has received the Education Extra award in 1998 for its wide range of extra-curricular activities, which include football, netball, country dancing and science. Sports teams from the school compete strongly locally and nationally. The school is a member of the West Essex Business Education Partnership and the Harlow Schools Consortium. The school aims to offer a happy, safe and secure environment in a family atmosphere.
