Background:

Founded in 1974, Danbury Park features a semi-open-plan arrangement with six classrooms, an IT suite, a library, a technology room, a reading centre, a roll play area and three temporary classrooms. Danbury Park has a large orchestra and choir and a significant proportion of chidren have individual instrument tuition. There are regular performances at Chelmsford Cathedral Festival, Essex County Hall, OAP clubs and at school events. The school'stages regular drama productions and offers clubs including country dancing, maypole dancing, morris dancing and swimming. There are community links with playgroups, the village church and the over 60's, and the school also raises money for a number of charities.
