Background:

Bentley St Paul's Church of England Primary School has a purpose-built ICT suite, a music room, a new sports playground and an adventure trail. In addition to the ICT suite, two classes have their own extensive networks. The school runs 15 clubs a week, which focus on sports, music, languages and drama. The school has active links with schools in Germany, Belgium, Poland and Kenya. More than one quarter of children have instrumental tuition. The school runs competitive sports teams and operates a house system. Pupils learn German and French from the age of seven. The school has also achieved Education Extra award for extra-curricular sport, Activemark Gold, Investor in People status in 2003 and DfES achievement award in 2001. The school aims to enable every child to reach his or her potential in a caring and supportive environment.
