St John's School is in Epping town, surrounded by over 40 acres of greenbelt land. It has a wide range of facilities including a new technology suite, a refurbished computer suite and English centre. Creative and performing arts are particularly strong but there are good sports facilities including a sports hall and gymnasium which serve both the school and the local community. Recently, St John's facilities for extra-curricular activities were the subject of a National Award. Christian ethos with particular focus on the environment.
