Background:
Spinney Junior is an early new town school located in an established area of Harlow. It stands in extensive grounds and offers large class bases in the main school, with three classrooms in huts close to the main building. The school runs a number of extra-curricular clubs and has a 'strong tradition of music and sports'. Links with the local church, sheltered housing and local industry enrich the experiences of pupils. There are strong inter-school links with the Spinney Infants which shares the same site and Mark Hall, its main feeder comprehensive.
