Background:
Valentines High School is a secondary school and sixth form for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 18. The school has superb facilities with new teaching blocks have been built in four areas of the site, giving specialist teaching rooms in science, technology, language, geography, humanities, media studies and drama. It also has eight well-equipped science laboratories and a large modern sports hall, which is among the best in Redbridge. Rooms in the original buildings have been refurbished, carpeted and converted to specialist use as in the music room, which has been re-equipped with state-of-the-art keyboards. The school has 12 newly equipped computer rooms, connected to the internet. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. The school aims to provide a safe, secure and stimulated enviornment.
