Background:

Bournemouth Park Primary School opened on 1st September 2003 following the successful amalgamation of the infant school and the junior school. The school was built in 1907 and has undergone substantial modernisation since that time. The aim of Bournemouth Park School is to provide a secure environment within which a broad and balanced curriculum will enable all its pupils to reach their potential. The school has ICT suites. There is a computer in every classroom including the nursery. Physical education includes gymnastics, skills and dance and movement. The school participates in the infant music festival and the junior music festival and musical productions are performed throughout the year. Extra-curricular activities include: karate, basketball, football, tag rugby, dance club, art club and pop choir. The school is a place for all to become active, confident learners who believe in their ability to succeed.
